Woodland Hills: Major Non-Residential Developments for 2025–2026
Woodland Hills is on the brink of a new era. Ambitious projects are set to redefine the community’s landscape, recreation, and entertainment options. Below is an overview of the most significant non-residential developments—excluding apartments and condos—scheduled to begin or make major progress in 2025 and 2026.
Rams Village at Warner Center: Sports, Entertainment, and Green Space
The headline project in Woodland Hills is the massive Rams Village at Warner Center. It is a $10 billion, 52-acre development led by the Kroenke Organization. While full construction is expected in 2027, 2025–2026 will focus on planning and design. Additionally, community engagement will shape this transformative complex.
Key features include:
-
The Los Angeles Rams headquarters and training facility will have over 350,000 square feet.
-
Moreover, it includes two outdoor grass practice fields and a large indoor practice field.
-
The indoor field seats 2,500 guests.
-
Two indoor performance venues (5,000 and 2,500 seats) will bring world-class entertainment and sports events to the Valley.
-
Nearly two million square feet of retail, office, and hotel space will create a vibrant new commercial hub.
-
Over nine acres of public open space, including parks and greenways, will focus on sustainability, solar energy, and stormwater reuse.
-
Community gathering spaces and public art will anchor the West Valley as a destination for recreation and culture.
Woodland Hills Promenade Mall Redevelopment
The long-awaited redevelopment of the Promenade Mall site is finally moving forward. It is part of the Rams Village plan. The project will transform a dormant retail site into a mixed-use destination. It will feature new shopping, dining, and event spaces. These spaces will attract visitors from the entire San Fernando Valley.
Pierce College Expansion
Pierce College is breaking ground on a new 56,000-square-foot expansion. This will enhance educational and recreational facilities for students and the community. This addition will provide new classrooms, labs, and public spaces. Furthermore, it will cement Woodland Hills’ reputation as a center for learning and innovation.
Warner Center Green Space and Sustainability Initiatives
In line with the Warner Center 2035 Plan, the Rams Village and nearby developments will add over nine acres of parks and open space. Four acres will be required public access areas. These green spaces will offer walking paths, outdoor gathering spots, and sustainable landscaping. All are designed to foster a healthier, more vibrant community.
Community Engagement and Beautification
Ongoing city-led beautification efforts and public art installations will continue to enhance the look and feel of Woodland Hills. As a result, new developments will be matched by improvements to existing parks, streetscapes, and public amenities.
